M. Ellen Williams
Ellen Williams practices primarily in the firm’s Daphne office. Ms. Williams graduated cum laude from Tulane University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in English and Business Management. She was a member of the Honors College and held leadership positions in her sorority, the pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta, and the school’s club tennis team.
Ms. Williams attended the University of Alabama School of Law. In law school, she was a member of Dorbin Society and participated in the school’s award-winning Moot Court Competition. She was a member of the Law & Psychology Review, where she served on the managing board as Student Articles Editor, and her own article discussing copyright law and the fair use defense was chosen for publication. Ms. Williams also participated in the school’s Mediation Clinic, where she provided free mediation services to parties with pending family law issues such as divorce, child custody, and child support.
Ms. Williams maintains a general practice of law and assists clients with a broad range of matters that include estate planning, estate administration, property disputes, business law, and civil litigation. She also assists in the firm’s representation of local municipalities and governmental authorities.
Ms. Williams is a member of the Baldwin County and Mobile Bar Associations.
